Training Overview

This Training and Resource Hub is designed with you in mind. Each section plays a role in equipping you on your coaching journey. Real time access to critical resources can help increase your coaching knowledge and transform your skills. As you move along the journey to becoming an effective coach, you’ll gain confidence and competency so that you are best prepared to partner with families to achieve their goals.

We are excited to build your professional capacity with our series of fun and highly interactive hands-on training events. At each event you will:

Learn evidence-based strategies
Practice practical coaching tools

Roadmap

Become a Goal-Driven, Strengths-Focused, Family-Centered Coach!

Every individual will attend an Intro to Coaching training and three additional trainings. Each of these four trainings will be offered twice in 2022, with a Summer and Fall Track. Many staff completed all of their training in the Summer Track, while others were scheduled to complete their training in the Fall. If you started your training in the Summer Track but had to miss one of the trainings, you can join trainings in the the Fall Track to complete your four trainings. In all, you will complete four trainings.

Register individually for each of the training sessions you need by clicking on the blue Register button associated with information about that training. In the Fall there are two trainings offered back-to-back, with the Intro to Coaching training immediately followed by the Family-Centered Coaching training.
