Yes. Educators are individuals trained in one or more Familyhood Champions curricula, equipping them to lead group-based workshops within their organizations and/or communities. Builders are individuals focused on building the capacity of their teams or clients by applying concepts and skills to enhance existing services. Connectors are individuals or groups committed to building family-focused networks within their communities to connect clients or individuals to services.
Yes, you can be part of multiple Familyhood Champion categories. After attending Connector Training, you can also apply to become an Educator, a Builder or both. There’s no limit to how many trainings you can apply for!
Connector Training prepares individuals to strengthen communities by building connections and linking people to services. Participants learn the Familyhood framework, the Connector role, advocacy strategies, available curricula, professional development opportunities, and how to effectively use the service delivery map.
Yes, anyone can attend Connector Training! The only requirements are an interest in supporting Familyhood efforts and a commitment to the two-hour training session.
